The rule management page allows you to create rules or alerts to notify you of the following:
- IMEI changes
- RADIUS session counts
- Usage by SIM or plan

General rule information
Option or field | Notes |
Usage or session data | Usage When available, usage rules are triggered from RADIUS records, allowing you to receive alerts without delay. Use the Diagnose option to review any SIM's RADIUS records. Note: The dashboard and timeline graphs use CDR usage and may not match your alert usage information. Session All session data comes from RADIUS. |
Rule types | Rule types include:

Period | Daily and monthly triggers require separate rules. Note: Usage or session counts received after the end of the billing period (23rd) will not trigger emails or block usage. |
Trigger actions | Once a rule is triggered, it can:

Voice usage rules | Usage Although voice is always a pay-per-use plan, you can set voice usage rules for either plan type. |

The rule table shows you general information about each alert. Sort any table as needed to view your alerts.
Field | Description |
Rule name | The name the alert was given when created or last updated. |
Usage rule ID | The ID of the alert is used for reporting and troubleshooting. |
Service type name | Service type for that alert. |
Rule type name | Rule types:

Conditions | Includes information on the alert types and limits. Hover to see detailed information. The alert does not include a threshold for that usage type if no information is available when you hover.

Threshold level | The threshold level is the same as the rule type:

Item count | Pooled plan - the number of plans assigned to that alert. Subscription - number of SIMs assigned to that alert. |
Usage type | Types of usage included in the alert. Note: Not used for RADIUS session rules. |
Period | Shows whether it is a monthly (billing period) or daily rule. |
Status | Status of the alert:

Creator | There are two formats:

Created date | The date the rule was created. |
