The IMEI change alert allows you to be notified if the IMEI changes for your KORE VZW SIMs. For this alert to be as effective as possible, update your IMEI information using the bulk update feature for any changes made after the initial activation.
Note: The carrier is the source of record for IMEIs. This new feature will not stop an IMEI from being changed as we are sending out the notification when we receive it from the carrier.
You can only create one IMEI change alert for each account.

Add the rule
Account > Account Information > Alert Management
The section includes:
Select rule type
- Select the New Alert button.
- Select IMEI Change, and then select CONFIRM.
Add TAC codes
- Add your TAC codes, which are the first eight digits of an IMEI number. Add one code on each line, and then select DONE.
Note: Maximum of 20 TAC codes. - Review for any duplicate error messages. Select the "click to edit" box to make any changes needed, and select DONE until all errors are resolved.
Note: The validation checks for duplicates only, not for valid TAC codes. - Review the rejected tab for any other errors. Select the "click to edit" box to make any code changes needed, and then select DONE. When all codes are listed in the accepted tab, select CONTINUE.
Set actions
Select the actions you would like to take once alerted of an IMEI change, and then select CONFIRM.
Option | Description |
Enable rule | Enable the alert if you would like it to into effect immediately. You have the choice to create an alert and enable it on a future date. |
Enable WebHook | Enable a webhook if it applies to your business. If you select this option, you also will need to add:

Send rule email | Add any email addresses you would like the alert sent to. The addresses do not need to be associated with your ConnectivityPro account. |
Block usage | Blocking the usage on the device will stop all usage on the device and move it to either suspended, suspended with charge, or deactivated. The state will depend on your contract and the service type. Your blocking choices are the same as usage alerts:

Confirmation
The confirmation screen will display your new alert information. Scroll to see your action information.
Alert notification email
The alert email will contain the previous and new IMEI numbers. The IMEI change history is now available on the Subscription details page.
Changes to any SIM IMEIs are available on the Subscription details page.
Update the alert
Account > Account Information > Rule Management > IMEI change
- Select the rule, and then select the UPDATE RULE button.
- Select the "click to edit" box to make any changes needed to your TAC codes if needed.
- Refer to the Add an alert instructions as needed to complete your changes.
Disable the alert
Account > Account Information > Rule Management > IMEI change
You cannot delete the IMEI alert once created, but you can disable it.
- Select the alert, and then select the UPDATE RULE button.
- Select CONTINUE to advance to the next screen, uncheck Enable Alert, and then select CONFIRM.
- Select DONE to close the window. The alert is now in disabled status.
Enable the rule
Account > Account Information > Alert Management > IMEI change
You can enable an alert at any time.
Follow the disable an alert process and select the Enable Alert checkbox to turn the alert back on. You can make any changes needed to the alert at the same time.
