The feature is also known as the eSIM device validation tool (eDVT). Use this feature to test the remote eSIM provisioning functionality for your devices. The validation includes audit, download, enable, disable, and delete. The eUICC will be returned to its original state once the testing is complete.
The feature is available for all eSIMs with an EID.

Requirements
The following is required to validate an eSIM device:
- eSIM is in active state
- SMS MT feature
- Not connected to an LTE only network
Start a new validation

Subscriptions > Inventory
- Switch the table view to ESIM.
- Select the eSIM you want to test, and then select the Validate button. The system will open a new browser window.
Note: Validate button will not enable if the eSIM does not meet the requirements for validation. - Verify the EID number, and select Continue from the Device Validation window.
- Complete the fields (brand, model, and firmware are required), and then select Continue.
Note: The content of the fields does not affect testing, but you can use them for searching the validation history table. Use these fields for any information needed. - Select either Quick or Extended, and then select Begin Validation.
Notes: Testing may take longer if the connection is not stable.
If any step takes longer than 10 minutes, the test will automatically terminate and display as a failure. - The validation details display as the rest runs in real-time.
- View the results once the test completes. You will also receive an email with the test results.
Note: Selecting Start New Validation will only allow you to run another validation on the same device.

Validation test results table
Field | Description |
Validation ID & type | The ID is unique to each test. Refer to this number when creating a support ticket or calling Support. Note: Validation Id is not searchable on this page. Type is the test type, which is either extended or quick. The type is also identified by the Id prefix (E or Q). |
Device brand | Field value from the validation test. Includes a link to the validation details page. |
Device model | Field value from the validation test. Includes a link to the validation details page. |
Started | Displays in local time. |
Status | Displays if the test was successful or failed and the length of the test. Note: You cannot cancel a test by selecting the X on the test window, this will just close the window. Validation details
The validation details include the original request values and how long each step took to complete.
