The alerts and notifications are for all activity on the account.
When there are new alerts or notifications available, the icon will show the number of new alerts. 
New alerts and notifications will have a light orange background that will change to light gray after you view them.
Alerts
An alert is a change or threshold alert on a SIM that may require you to take action.

| IMEI change for devices | Manual and changes from the carrier. |

Usage alerts will have one of these headings. Usage alerts include:

Notifications
Notifications are changes made to your inventory or account that do not require any action but are provided for your information.
| Notification | Description |
| Bulk update failed | Bulk update request that did not complete. |
| Failed to create provisioning request | Provisioning requests that have failed. The message will include the reason for failure and the reference ID. |
| File is ready for download | The files will be downloads from any list tables. |
| Invoice | A new invoice is available. |
| New provisioning request created | New provisioning requests. The message will include the type of request, the request id number, and a link. |
| SIM orders | Tracking information once an order is shipped. |
