When activating your subscriptions or SIMs, activation profiles (AP) are used to add the plans and features.

What is an activation profile?
An activation profile allows you to create a set group of options (macro) to ensure standard activations of your SIMs by service type. Because you can create as many express activations as you need, they are instrumental in supporting multiple business contexts and applications. They are similar to EAPs in PRiSMPro but do not include as many options.
An activation profile can include:
- Plans
- APNs
- SMS features
- Data features
- Voice features
- Roaming options
- Cost center
Notes:
The cost center field is only available when creating activation profiles in advance from the Account Information page.
Activation profiles are not available when using API 4.
Activation profile list
Account > Account Information > Activation Profiles
The usage table shows you general information about each alert. Sort any table as needed to view your alerts.

Activation profile ID | For use with APIs. |
Activation profile name | The name of the activation profile. |
Service type | Service type assigned to the activation alert. |
Product offer | The product offer associated with the SIM format type. |
Created date | The creation date of the activation profile. |
Created by | User name of the person who created the list |
Create an activation profile
You can create an activation profile in two ways:
Create activation profiles in advance
Account > Account Information > Activation Profiles
- Select New Activation Profile.
- Complete the first three fields, and then select CONTINUE.

Note: Select "switchable" when creating an activation profile for use when switching eSIM profiles. Activation profile name The name should be unique enough to clearly identify the properties included when shown on a list during activation.
Note: There are no character or length limits.Description Cost center Select if needed. - Select a data plan, and then select CONTINUE.
- Select an SMS plan, and then select CONTINUE.
Note: If you do not want SMS, you still must select a plan. Select SMS pay per use. - Select all features, and then select CONTINUE.
- Review all the details of the activation profile, and then select CONFIRM to save.
During activation
Activate > Profile Parameters > Activation Profile
Activation profiles can be created during the activation process.
Note: The cost center field is not available for this option.
- Select Activation Profile, scroll to the bottom of the list, and select + Create New.
- Create a descriptive name that will make it unique enough to identify it on the list during activation. The list of activation profiles will identify the service type, so you will not need to include it in the title.
Notes:
There are no character or length limits.
The system will not save the new activation profile if you cancel the activation request. - Select the SMS plan and then your data plan.
- Select your data, SMS, voice, and other feature options. The lists displayed will be customized based on your data and SMS plan selections.
Note: Mandatory features will be automatically selected and cannot be unselected.
Note: Watch for a scroll bar as some service types can have a long feature list. - Select CONTINUE. The new activation profile is now saved.
- Review the activation profile and select CONFIRM to send the request.

View an activation profile
- Select the activation profile name to view.
- Scroll to review all the profile information and details.
Edit an activation profile
You cannot edit an activation profile.
Delete an activation profile
You can delete an activation profile or EAP in two ways:
Note: Activation profiles are used during activation but are not tied to the SIMs. Deleting an activation profile does not affect the settings on any SIMs activated with that profile.
Account menu
Account > Account Information > Activation Profiles
- Search the list as needed to select the activation profile.
- Select the activation profile and then select Delete Profile.
- Select YES to confirm the deletion.
Activation process
Activate > Profile Parameters > Activation Profile
- Select the activation profile option and find the activation profile.
- Select the
delete icon .
- Select YES to confirm the deletion.
