Account ID | The account number for the account and begins with "cmp-pp-org-." Use this number for Connectivity APIs. |
Account number | The account number identifier used with ConnectivityPro. |
Activation profile | Activation profiles are customized macros used to activate your SIMs or eSIMs with plans, features, and rules (threshold alerts). |
Airtime | Airtime is voice usage. |
APN | The Access Point Name (APN) establishes the connection to the gateway between the carrier's network and the internet. |

Billing period | The billing period is from the 24th-23rd, and the last month is listed as the billing month. Example: The August billing month includes July 24 - August 23. |

CDMA | Acronym for Code Division Multiple Access. |
CDR | Acronym for call detail record. Referred to as a daily call record, query call records, and daily CSV files. |
Commitment plans | Any plan with a preset limit on data or text. Note: Refer to non-commitment plans for voice. |
Cost center | A cost center is a field that can be used to segment your SIMs inventory into groups based on your organization's needs. PRiSMPro also allows you to create users that can only view and maintain SIMs identified by a specific cost center. |
Cost center ID | The cost center identifier is used with Connectivity APIs. |
Country code | ISO maintains country codes to identify countries and regions. For OmniSIM SAFE, use ISO 3166-1 Alpha 2 code. |
CSR | A Certificate Signing Request (CSR) is a block of encoded text you provide to a Certificate Authority (CA) to apply for a TLS/SSL certificate. |

Date created | The date the SIM or eSIM was added to the account. This date includes whether the SIM can to the account as stock or as a SIM transfer. |

Device | A device is any machine, object, or hardware with a SIM card and the ability to transfer data over a network or the internet. Examples include wireless sensors, actuators, and computer hardware. |
Disaster recovery | A set of policies and procedures for recovering or continuing vital infrastructure and systems following a significant, disruptive event. |

EID | Acronym for Embedded UICC ID. The EID is the unique identifier on an eSIM. An eSIM has one EID but can have many ICCIDs. |
eSIM | Acronym for Embedded Subscriber Identity Module. An eSIM is a single SIM card that can remotely switch carriers or cellular technology (2G, 3G, or 4G) for IoT devices deployed over a long period. |
eSIM switch | An eSIM switch feature allows you to remotely download an eSIM profile to an active KORE eSIM. |
ESN | Acronym for electronic serial number. |
eUICC | An eUICC is a remotely programmable SIM card that is available in a range of format types. |
Express activation profile (EAP) - PRiSMPro | Acronym for Express Activation Profile. An EAP allows you to create a set group of features to ensure your SIMs are activated correctly. You can even include thresholds and barring if available. EAPs are required when activating using an API. |

ICCID | Acronym for Integrated Circuit Card Identifier. An ICCID is the unique identifier on a SIM or eSIM card. |
IMEI | International Mobile Equipment Identity. The International Mobile Equipment Identity or IMEI is a number usually unique to identify 3GPP (GSM, UMTS, and LTE), iDEN mobile phones, and some satellite phones. It is usually found printed inside the battery compartment of the phone. It can also be displayed on-screen on most phones by entering *#06# on the dial pad or alongside other system information in the settings menu on smartphone operating systems. The IMEI number is used by a GSM network to identify valid devices. |
IMSI | Acronym for international mobile subscriber identity. The IMSI is a 15-digit number assigned once you activate a SIM on the network. |
IPND | Acronym for Integrated Public Number Database. The phone number and owner details database in Australia. |
iSIM | iSIM is a technology that integrates SIM card functionality into a device's main processor using purpose-built system-on-chip (SoC) architecture. |

MCC | Acronym for Mobile Network Code. The MCC works with the MNC to identify a unique mobile operator. |
MEID | mobile equipment identifier. A MEID is 56 bits long (14 hex digits). It consists of three fields: an 8-bit regional code (RR), a 24-bit manufacturer code, and a 24-bit manufacturer-assigned serial number. |
MIN | Acronym for mobile identification number. |
MNC | Acronym for Mobile Country Code. The MCC works with the MNC to identify a unique mobile operator. |
MQTT | MQTT (Message Queuing Telemetry Transport) is a machine-to-machine (M2M) protocol that allows bilateral messaging between device to cloud and cloud to device. |
MRC | Monthly recurring charges. |
MSISDN | Acronym for Mobile Station International Subscriber Directory Number The MSISDN identifies a mobile subscriber and maps your telephone number to the subscriber identity module on the SIM card. The MSISDN is a 15-digit number that is assigned once you activate your devices on the network. Special MSISDN requests, such as port-ins and port-outs, may be offered by your carrier. |

Pool plans | A type of plan that shares a pool of data or text with multiple SIMs. The amount of usage listed in the name of the plan is the amount of usage added to the plan for each SIM. Based on your contract terms, usage proration may apply for mid-month activations, deactivations, and suspensions. Example: 1GB pooled plan Overages are not calculated unless the total usage is more than the pooled amount of the plan. |
Product offer | A product offer is a group of features that work together to deliver a specific value. When ordering SIMs or eSIMs, you must select the product offer before the system provides you with the list of SIMs cards available for that product. |
Provisioning | Provisioning is any action that changes the state, plans, or features on a SIM or subscription. |

RADIUS | RADIUS, an acronym for Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service, is a protocol used by all carriers to access network services globally. When a SIM connects to RADIUS, the authentication, authorization, accounting, session duration, and data usage can be captured for immediate reporting and usage (alerting) information. All RADIUS information will be replaced by the CDRs (daily CSVs) received by the carriers every 24-48 hours until the monthly summary reports are available. |
Request ID | The request identifier used in ConnectivityPro. |
Request URN | The request identifier used with Connectivity APIs. |
Roaming | Roaming occurs when your SIM is on a network other than your domestic network. |
RSP state | Remote SIM provisioning state indicates if the profile is enabled on the eSIM. |

SAF charges | SAF charges are monthly fees applied to SIMs activated on the network, whether they produce usage or not. SAF charges are for the next month. SIMs activated during the billing period are prorated. |
SDK | A Software Development Kit (SDK) is a group of software tools that facilitate the creation of applications. |
Service type | A service type identifies a grouping of SIM card types, features, rates, and plans. |
Session | A session is a series of interactions between two communication endpoints that occur during the span of a single connection. The session begins when the connection is established at both ends and terminates when the connection is ended.

Short code | A short code is a short digit sequence used with automated services to address SMS messages. |
SIM number | SIM is the acronym for Subscriber Identity Module. Note: SIM or ICCID numbers for scrapped SIMs will include an additional extension of six digits (12345678912345678912-123456). |
SIM card | SIM card is also known as SIM format type in ConnectivityPro. SIM cards are identified by their ICCID. The ICCID is stored on the SIM cards either engraved or printed on the SIM card body. The number is up to 20 digits long and defined by the ITU-T recommendation E.118. Additional information:

SMS | Acronym for Short Message Service. Also known as text. |
SMSC | Acronym for Short Message Service Center. |
Subscription | Subscription includes your SIM, connectivity, features, and any other add-on modules. |
Subscription ID | The subscription identifier used with Connectivity APIs. |
Sunset (cellular) | The planned phase-out of a product over time. The term is often applied when a carrier is phasing out (sunsetting) a type of service. Example: 3G cellular |
Surcharge | An additional charge to your roaming services. |

TAC codes | Acronym for type allocation code. The TAC code is the first eight numbers of an IMEI. |
Time format | Refer to the date and time format. |

UICC | UICC is an acronym for Universal Integrated Circuit Card. This is a newer generation SIM card that includes smart card technology. Smaller in size than a full card, it contains a computer, or microprocessor, its own data storage, and software. |
UTC | Acronym for Universal Time Coordinated, Coordinated Universal Time, and previously known as Greenwich Mean Time. UTC is used to determine time worldwide and is maintained by the Bureau International des Poids et Mesures (BIPM). Refer to the linked UTC map to UTC zones and current times.
