Pausing a Rule
When a Rule is paused, all Conditions set for that Rule are paused and Alerts do not trigger for these Conditions.
- Search for and open the Rule that you need. You can search either from the Dashboard or from the Rules page.
- Click Pause Rule, located at the top right of the page.
Paused displays on the top left of the Rule and a message is displayed on the page indicating that this Rule is paused.
Note: Alerts will not trigger for the conditions set in a paused Rule.
Activating a Paused Rule
When you need to begin triggering alerts against the Rule again, you can re-activate it.
- Search for and open the Rule.
- Click Activate Rule.
Both the message and Paused are removed and the Rule is active again.
Note: Alerts will trigger for the conditions set in a Rule that is activated.
Important! SecurityPro only monitors your devices to notify you when your Device is not behaving as expected. It does not resolve this behavior. You must take action to resolve your Device’s behavior and then acknowledge within SecurityPro that you have done so.
