Using the Rules page, you can change the Rule name, severity level, add or remove a condition, or add the Rule to a Group or remove it from a Group.
Search for and select the Rule that you want to change and use either of the following options.
Edit | Click the Edit button located to the right of the Rule name. Change the name and click Save Changes. |
Severity Level | To change the Severity Level, select the new severity level from the drop-down list and click Done. |
Add Condition |
If you need to add more conditions, click Add Condition and follow the steps to add the condition. If you need help, refer to the How do I for the specific Condition that you want to add. |
Edit Condition | You can make changes to a Condition that has been added to the Rule by selecting the Edit button, make the changes you need, and follow the prompts to save your changes. |
Add Action | To add an e-mail address or addresses for Alert notification, click Add Action and follow the steps to add an action. If you need help, refer to Creating a Rule and why a Rule is needed or adding an e-mail notification. |
Edit Action | You can make changes to an Action that has been added to the Rule by selecting the Edit button located next to the Action, and follow the prompts to save your changes. |
Apply to Group | If you want to add this Rule to a Group, click Apply to Group. Choose from the list of Groups and click Done. If you need to remove the Rule from the Group you selected, simply click the x in the Groups list. |
Remove a Group | If the Rule has been applied to a Group and you need to remove it from that Group, click the x located at the top right of the Group on the Rule detail page. When prompted, confirm that you want to remove the Rule from the Group. |
When you are finished making changes to the Rule, you can click Back to Rules to return to the Rules page, or you can make another selection from the Navigator.
Important! SecurityPro only monitors your devices to notify you when your Device is not behaving as expected. It does not resolve this behavior. You must take action to resolve your Device’s behavior and then acknowledge within SecurityPro that you have done so.
